Approaching the end?

I am tantalisingly close to completing of the first draft of my debut novel, Hellingly. Every day, when I sit down to write those last few paragraphs I have that frisson of excitement that today may actually be the day. It wasn't today but it may be tomorrow. I can feel it coming, it's building in me and I know one day soon I am going to be able to type those six magic letters.

Someone suggested perhaps I am sabotaging myself because I don't really want it to be over. I examined that theory and decided it's bunkum. I am aching to move onto the next phase, the editing and the tinkering, the spicing up and the culling.

Meanwhile, Write Club The Podcast is slowly taking over the world and this week, we've been featured by the Professional Writing Academy which was nice. Have a butchers here.
